Dad bought an alabaster rock weighing 215 lbs for $15 on BisMan. It laid in our yard for over a year. He finally met a guy that carves rock. He carved this buffalo for Dad. It now weighs 73 lbs and is valued at $3000 to $4000. Dad later had the joy of obtaining this alabaster Indian Chief head that Dad had his eye on all the times he would stop at this guys place and see all his other artwork. It weighs 71 lbs and is valued at $11,000.

Wow! Those are amazing! Why didn't he have him carve a deer? Dad's the deer catcher afterall!! :)
Dad should blog some of his stories on here and practice his typing!! :) We'd love that! It'd make a great bedtime story for Ethan!
